From 22 till 25 May 2023, partner AIT has participated in the 7th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop, which took place on the Faroe Islands. The workshop was organized by Energynautics GmbH.
The Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop offered a prime opportunity to discuss the future of hybrid power systems. Participants looked at applications in a variety of locations and operating environments with a focus on system design, operating experience, business models, economics, and implementation issues. The workshop has an industrial focus more than academic, with many large storage providers, consultancy companies, developers, research centers and governmental agencies.
To share the progress and results of iSTORMY, partner AIT has held an oral presentation on the 23rd of May. 60 people attended this presentation. Additionally, many storage & hybrid power plants projects were presented, including very similar national projects on hybrid storage systems.
